We can do a lot for you. I have been working for my Business Customers for many years, I have many business customers that call me for any issues. I help them remotely, I go to their location when they need help (which is why my apprentice Cole is working here full time, so that I can go out to my business customers on demand to fix any issues they have). We can do more, most anything you want, but we may not have a standard set price for it. Examples include training classes, scripting, website design, server installation and management. I’ve installed cameras, Wi-Fi, fixed network and telephone/fax issues. I had a security clearance and worked on secure networks, I’ve had a well rounded education with lots of experience.

Computer running slowly – Typically around $50 – $85 (plus parts, if needed)
A slow computer can be caused by many different things. It could have a lot of dust clogging it up inside, which limits the airflow around components. Computers have temperature sensors inside them, if your CPU or GPU gets too hot, it typically slows itself down, which uses less power, so it doesn’t overheat. This throttling makes it run slower, but is better than damaging itself from getting too hot. The most common issue we see is the hard drive running slowly, either because it is an old spinning drive which doesn’t cut it these days, or a solid state drive that has gotten slow. We can check to see what is slow, and either fix it or replace it with something that will run faster. Another cause is software, either a program having problems and is hogging resources, or a setting is limiting speed or resources.
This usually takes about one day.

Clone Hard Drive to a new drive: $85 labor + Parts
If your computer is running slow due to a slow drive, this clones (copies) all of your data and programs to a new drive, so that you won’t really notice any difference other than speed.
This usually takes 24 hours

Tech Check Diagnostic – $50
We will check your device for the issues you mention, as well as running a variety of other tests on your computer, looking for and fixing some common issues.
This usually takes about one day.

(Re)Installing Windows – Typically around $85
If your Windows is not working right, we may be able to fix it. We can also just reinstall Windows (typically Windows 10 or 11) on your computer. You can think of this as a fresh start, the computer is about the same as when it was brand new. If your computer has an old spinning hard drive, we recommend installing a Solid State Drive (SSD) since it runs much faster. We will install basic programs (such as Chrome, Firefox, and a few other free programs).
This usually takes 4 hours.

Copy data (and possibly programs) – Typically $85 – $150
If you have a new computer and want to copy your data (and possibly programs) to it, we can help with that. Copying data (all of your important files, such as Desktop items, Downloads, Documents, etc) over to the new computer and putting them in the same place (or different folder if you prefer). Copying programs is harder and takes longer, and so costs extra.
This usually takes about 24 hours for data, and 1 – 3 days for programs

Virus / Malware Removal – Typically $75 – $100
We can scan your computer for any malware, adware, or otherwise bad programs. We can disable any remote access programs (that let someone else connect up to your computer remotely). The $100 option includes one year of Antivirus software, we will install it and set it up and scan your computer with it.
This usually takes about 2 – 4 days (scans take a long time)

Gaming Computer Custom Build – Typically $250
You can bring us all the parts (or we can help order them), and we will put your computer together. We take time to make sure cables are all routed neatly and so it comes out looking great. This usually takes about 3 – 4 hours to get everything put together, Windows installed, and then we do a stress test to make sure it is working great. We juggle this with other computer work we are doing.
This usually takes about 2 – 4 days

Cleaning Dust – Typically around $25 – $100.
Dust and debris inside your computer can hamper it’s performance or reduce it’s lifespan. Dust can act like an insulator, making heat stay in components instead of being literally blown away by the fan. Dust can also clog up your heatsinks which can block air from flowing, which limits cooling. Both of the pictures below show computers which cleaning all the dust out resulted in them working properly again. The price can vary quite a bit. A computer from a non-smoking house can typically be cleaned in less than 15 minutes and so will be $25. A computer in a smoking household can take over an hour to clean, and so the price goes up. Pet hair can also clog things up.
This usually takes 4 hours
